XRPDashboard-MVP Privacy Policy

XRPDashboard-MVP is operated by Polyphasic Developers ("we," "us," or "our"), based in the United Kingdom. This Privacy Policy explains how XRPDashboard-MVP handles information when you use the XRPDashboard-MVP app for iPhone and iPad.

The app does not use a Polyphasic Developers server and does not include advertising, analytics, crash reporting, user accounts or iCloud storage.

Summary

• Polyphasic Developers does not collect personal data through an account or its own server.
• The app contacts third-party services for XRP prices, exchange rates, named cryptocurrency news feeds, r/xrp posts, requested AI summaries and a Speechify voice list.

App Status

XRPDashboard-MVP is no longer under active development. This policy continues to apply while the app remains available on the App Store and to copies already installed.

International Transfers

The third-party services named in this policy operate internationally and may process ordinary network information and request content outside the United Kingdom or European Economic Area, including in the United States. Each provider is responsible for applying the safeguards required by data protection law to its own processing. Selected provider privacy policies are linked in the previous section.

Information the App Handles

Information stored on your device

Portfolio holdings and transaction history are stored locally in the iOS Keychain. Display choices, currency settings and notification settings are stored locally in UserDefaults. Polyphasic Developers does not receive this local data through an account or its own server.

Notification permission

The app asks for permission to show local alerts, play notification sounds and update its badge. It does not use a user-facing push notification service. You can allow or decline the request and change the permission later in iOS Settings.

Network requests

The app connects directly to third-party services to provide its content and requested summaries. Those services receive ordinary network information such as your IP address as part of the connection.

• CoinGecko receives requests for XRP prices and price history.
• open.er-api.com receives requests for currency exchange rates.
• CryptoSlate, CoinDesk, Cointelegraph, The Block, AMBCrypto, CryptoPotato and NewsBTC receive requests for news feeds. Images may load from publisher or content delivery network hosts.
• Reddit receives requests for posts from r/xrp.
• OpenAI receives article titles, descriptions, source names and URLs, or Reddit post titles, when you request a summary.
• Speechify receives a request for its available voice list when the news view starts. The shipped app does not expose speech playback controls.

Portfolio amounts are not sent to CoinGecko or the exchange-rate service.

How Information Is Used

Information is handled only to provide the app functions described in this policy:

• Retrieve XRP prices, price history and currency exchange rates.
• Retrieve news feeds, story images and posts from r/xrp.
• Generate a summary through OpenAI when you request one.
• Load Speechify's available voice list when the news view starts.
• Keep portfolio holdings, transaction history and app settings on your device.

How Data Is Shared

Polyphasic Developers does not sell personal information and does not operate a server that receives your portfolio or app settings.

The app sends requests directly to CoinGecko, open.er-api.com, news publishers, Reddit, OpenAI and Speechify as described above. Each provider processes the request under its own privacy policy. Selected provider privacy policies are available for CoinGecko, Reddit, OpenAI and Speechify. Apple may also process standard App Store distribution and diagnostic information according to your device and App Store settings.

Legal Bases for Processing (UK and EU users)

Where UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, the app relies on performance of a contract to provide the features you request, including retrieving content and generating a requested summary. It relies on legitimate interests to load the app's current market, exchange-rate and news information and the Speechify voice list needed by the shipped code.

Data Retention

Portfolio holdings, transaction history and settings remain on your device until they are changed through normal use or removed from the device. Polyphasic Developers does not retain a server copy.

Third-party services may retain ordinary request and service data under their own retention policies. Polyphasic Developers does not control those schedules.

Your Rights and Choices

• Allow or decline notification permission and change it later in iOS Settings.
• Choose whether to request an AI-generated summary. No summary content is sent to OpenAI unless you use a Summarize control.
• Contact us if you have a privacy question or wish to exercise a data protection right.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to complain to a supervisory authority. In the UK, this is the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. Requests about data processed directly by a third-party service may need to be made to that provider.

Children

XRPDashboard-MVP is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will review the request.

Security

Portfolio holdings and transaction history are kept in the iOS Keychain. The app does not send them to Polyphasic Developers. No method of electronic storage or network transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the app or on this page.
