How to add a loyalty or gift card to Apple Wallet
If a shop's card or voucher does not offer its own Add to Apple Wallet button, you can create a native pass from the barcode in a photo, email or app screenshot.
Quick answer: save a clear image of the card's barcode, import it into Img2Wallet, check the detected code and add the generated pass to Apple Wallet.
Where to get the image
- A physical card: photograph the barcode straight-on in good, even light.
- A retailer app: open the rewards card and take a screenshot.
- An email or PDF: enlarge the barcode and save or screenshot it without cropping the edges.
- A voucher or gift card: make sure the barcode number and expiry information remain available for reference.
Turn it into a Wallet pass
- Open Img2Wallet on your iPhone.
- Select the image using Apple's photo picker.
- Check the detected barcode and give the pass a recognisable name.
- Tap Generate & Add to Wallet and confirm in Apple's Wallet sheet.
- Test the pass on your next visit before discarding the original card or email.

- Avoid glare on glossy plastic cards.
- Use maximum screen brightness when a shop scanner struggles.
