November App Update: Wallet, Music and Playback

Alongside FlagFall, we’re improving the everyday tools in our app collection. Here’s what is available now, what the new guides cover and what is still on the way.

5 November 2026. Tunode’s 1.1.4 improvements are released. The Img2Wallet guides are available to read. Davvy’s hold-to-2× update is upcoming and is not yet a public App Store release.

Img2Wallet: get a useful pass from a barcode image

Img2Wallet turns compatible barcode screenshots and photos into Apple Wallet passes. It is useful when a membership or loyalty card arrives as an image and you want it ready in Wallet.

Our guides now give that workflow a clearer starting point. Choose the example closest to what you have:

A recreated pass does not change an issuer’s acceptance rules. Rotating codes, NFC credentials and official payment cards need their own supported routes. See the product page for the current offer.

Tunode 1.1.4: a clearer CarPlay library

Tunode’s released 1.1.4 update adds Recently Played in CarPlay, alongside clearer loading and error states. It also improves account switching and restores the library after a locked CarPlay launch once the phone has been unlocked.

On iPhone, the mini-player now reserves enough space at accessibility text sizes instead of overlapping the tab bar. You’ll need your own Navidrome or compatible OpenSubsonic server to use Tunode.

Start with the server connection guide, then use our CarPlay walkthrough or offline download guide. Finish setup and select your music while safely parked.

Coming to Davvy: hold for 2×, release to return

We’ve built and device-tested a temporary playback-speed gesture for Davvy on iPhone and iPad. Hold an empty part of the video for about 0.4 seconds to play at 2×; release to return to your previous speed.

The upcoming update includes a visible speed indicator, an accessible speed menu and a setting to disable the gesture. It is intended for normal movie and episode playback; scheduled Channels and external playback routes are outside this first rollout.

Hold-to-2× is coming in Davvy 1.0.9 for iPhone and iPad, pending App Store approval. The Davvy page covers the app you can download today.
